Klitah Counselor Support

sheila counselingThe AACI klitah (absorption) counselors offer support, guidance and information to new immigrants to Israel, those who have been in Israel for many years, and those interested in making aliyah. The klitah services staff is composed of dedicated professionals who are trained, supervised and constantly updated on all of the intricacies of Israeli bureaucracy, including banking, education, employment, healthcare, housing, taxes, and more.

Since joining AACI, the Shira Pransky Project has provided the klitah counseling staff with comprehensive and up-to-date support regarding the Israeli healthcare system, one of the more complicated and critical topics on which they provide guidance and assistance. The Shira Pransky Project provides all of its resources and expertise to AACI’s counselors who offer personalized advising services to those in need.

AACI’s professional counselors are available to meet with new olim and AACI members by appointment. They are also available by telephone and in some areas on a drop-in basis.
